So I have decided to make my 101 in 1001 private. It just seems easier to keep it in excel with my other lists. Plus I never came up with the full 101 things and it just seems like I shouldn't put stuff on there just to have it on there if I really have no desire to do whatever it is.
Tomorrow I'm having a Harry Potter movie marathon with my friend and then Tuesday I've got people coming over for dinner and then off to see the Half Blood Prince at midnight..whoohoo

Goals and Books
I have got to get used to this blogging thing. I haven't felt that great today and so exercising is being pushed back until tomorrow. As far as eating, it's coming along slowly but surely. I am really craving a strawberry banana rendezvous from Coldstone though..lol. Luckily, spending the money for it is what's holding me back. Sad, huh?
On top of OSN, I have decided to partake in the 101 things in 1001 days. I'm still compiling my list but I should have it posted by tomorrow (not that anyone actually reads this).
As for what I'm reading, I have to read Tolstoy's The Death of Ivan Ilyich and write a paper on it that's due Monday. Needless to say the reading is done but the paper is not. Also, I was able to read a little for pleasure last night so I picked back up reading Dewey. I really thought I was going to enjoy this book because I love cats but the author spent an entire chapter on the history of the town. I'm really struggling to finish reading it but I made a promise to myself that I cannot start another book until I finish it. I just got a few Sarah Dessen books over the weekend for cheap and I've got 3 coming from PBS that I'm excited about. Man, I can't wait until June 26th when I'm done with my mini-mester class.

Motivated
It's no secret that I'm fat. I hate it but I am. To be honest, after I quit LA Weight Loss I gained back everything I lost plus 40 pounds and that depresses me. When I was at my old weight I always felt like a cow and after looking at pictures yesterday from that time, I found myself saying, "God, I wish I looked like that again."
Then I read Anna Marie's blog, Metamorphosis, and it totally inspired me. I wanted to get back into an exercise routine like I once did. Last August and this past February I signed up for this fitness program for women called Adventure Boot Camp..let me tell you that was the best decision I made. Granted, it's too expensive for me to keep on going every month but everything I learned from it was priceless. So, I asked Adam if he wanted to go running with me last night when he got off work and he did so we went! We decided for the rest of this week to start off slow (we'll go again tomorrow and do another mile) but next week we'll go 3 days a week and try to do at least 1 mile and then starting Monday I'm going to jump into doing the 30 Day Shred.
Losing weight isn't just a goal anymore, it's going to happen, along with getting myself to eat better. Thanks to all the girls on the NBC board, I feel so confident that I won't give up.

Books read in January
So far the Winter Book Challenge (WBC) and the 50 in 2009 Challenge are going ok. I haven't read as many books this month as I would have liked but I guess I can't complain with 5 completed. Hopefully I'll be adding at least 2 more to the count by Saturday's end. So far the books I've read this month are:
Dance Upon the Air and Heaven And Earth by Nora Roberts (both are parts 1 and 2 of the Three Sisters Trilogy)
Tales of Beedle the Bard and Harry Potter and the Socorer's Stone by J.K. Rowling
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
The 2 books I plan on having done by the end of the month include the 3rd book in the Three Sisters Trilogy (Face the Fire) and This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen. I may post a brief description of each book but I'm not entirely sure yet.

50 books in 2009
As you can tell I got quite behind in the a picture a day challenge. When you don't really go anywhere though (besides the usual everyday places) it gets kind of boring. I AM going to partake in the Nest Book Club's 50 books in 2009 Challenge. I can't wait for this challenge to begin. I've got a huge to-be-read pile going and a huge list of books I want to read so hopefully this'll work out.
As of now, the books on my list include:
The Last Lecture
The Lovely Bones
A Walk to Remember
The Other Boleyn Girl
The Host
Don Quixote
The Lucky One
The Shack
Great Expectations
Tales of Beedle the Bard
Marley and Me
I'll also be adding the rest of the Southern Vampire Mysteries, the Outlander Series, and the Time Traveler's Wife to this list for sure.

Days 11 and 12
Well not much happened yesterday. We decided to get out of the house a bit and walked around the new Kohl's for a bit then went to Johnny Brusco's Pizza for lunch, followed by the movies to see Lakeview Terrace but of course, that was the one movie they decided to not play for the day to accommodate an extra showing of another movie. After we got home we watched an episode of 21 Jump Street, a few episodes of Big Bang Theory, and I finished the night off with reading a few chapters of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Days 6-10 - wow I'm slacking
i know, i know. I should update everyday but I've been trying to get through the Harry Potter series (I'm a first timer) so I can re-read Twilight before the movie comes out. Anyhoo, here's a picture of our cat. Adam actually took this one, but I thought it was cute.

The picture for day 7 is just a grasshopper that was perched on our bathroom window.

The next picture I took because I thought the sky looked cool behind the tree. I love taking pictures of the sky. I took another sky picture for day 9.

Last night was Adam's birthday dinner and cake night. We went out to Johnny Carino's for dinner and afterwards our friends James & Ashley came over for cake and we watched an episode of The Big Bang Theory (one of the gifts Adam got from me). This picture is of James singing happy birthday to Adam sounding like President Bush.

Project 365 Day 2-5
I was without the internet this weekend, hence the lack of pictures. Hubs and I went to Birmingham to visit our parents (his dad had also flown in from Houston for the weekend) and celebrate Adam's birthday with them since we won't be seeing them on his actual birthday (the 11th). I decided for day 2 to take a picture of the little Inukshuk I bought at the beginning of our honeymoon. We saw quite a few of these from souvenirs to an actual formation near Vancouver's Stanley Park.

Saturday we met with our photographer to order our wedding pics and give her the list for the book she's doing for us. That night we got together and watched a pitiful Auburn game, ate dinner, and had my first taste of dirt cake. It was yummy. Adam's mom made this as his birthday cake all the time when he was growing up so I asked if she would do it again.
Sunday we went and ordered a frame for my bouquet (we got my flowers preserved) and then we met up with our 2 best friends for lunch. Turns out they were heading to JCPenney's and Books-A-Million like we were so we went shopping together and JCP was having a grand opening sale and we ended up getting new pillows at buy 1 get 1 for $1. I slept great last night. Sunday's picture has absolutely nothing to do with anything..it's just what's left of the fern hanging on our porch lol. As for Monday's picture..our Auburn Flag.

Day 1 of Project 365
So i decided to join fellow Alabama nesties in Project 365..blog one picture everyday for a year. I love taking pictures so as soon as I read about this, I just HAD to take part.
Photo numero uno is that of the birdfeeder hanging on our porch. I was walking by the door after getting study material out of our office and knew this would be my 1st entry. It needs some editing to sharpen it up but I've been having problems getting the camera to work on the desktop. Maybe I'll work on it some tomorrow or next week.

However, that is all she wrote for this blog as I still have a reading to do for class in the morning.
